At the end of the road sits the Far de la Mola, a lighthouse on a high cliff, with a monument to the writer Jules Verne, who once wrote about it. The clifftop views are huge.

La Mola is at the eastern end of Formentera, about 20 minutes by car from Sant Francesc. The island has no airport, so you arrive by ferry from Ibiza, then drive across. The nearest airport is Ibiza (IBZ). A car or scooter is really the only practical way to reach the village and the lighthouse.
