Along the Sunset Strip at Ses Variades, bars such as Café del Mar and Café Mambo have drawn crowds for chill-out sessions as the sun goes down for decades. After dark, the action moves to the West End, a packed grid of pedestrian streets full of bars and small clubs, while big superclubs like Es Paradís and Eden sit in the town and Amnesia and Privilege a short ride away. By day, the bay has a sandy town beach, S'Arenal, and boats leave the harbour for nearby coves and for Formentera.

May, June and September bring warm weather with fewer people than the July and August peak, when the bay and seafront are busiest. Winters are quiet, with much of the tourist infrastructure closed. The shoulder months give warm days without the summer crush.

Sant Antoni is on the west coast, about 15km from Ibiza Town and 20 minutes from Ibiza Airport (IBZ), with a seasonal direct airport bus and regular buses to the capital. The town is small and walkable. Boats leave the harbour for the west-coast coves and, in summer, across to Formentera.
